Meet the Team

Our team consists of experienced and motivated professionals, with many years of experience in the community and voluntary sector, they have the expertise to provide comprehensive, first-rate services to our clients.
We believe that the skills and experience which our team have garnered from their employment and voluntary roles as well as research and development where they have identified community need relevant to the aims and objectives of organisations, strategized to meet these needs through provision and the sourcing of funding to enable this, and through the management of projects including delivery, monitoring and evaluation has left The Write People well equipped to extend this into a consultancy capacity.

Brian Duffin

Brian Duffin has covered a wide range of jobs in various sectors but principally been in the community and arts sector for the last twenty years as a Centre Manager (Community Centre, Heritage Centre) and as an Arts Development Officer in a local Theatre & Arts Centre. He has been involved in community development all his adult life, in addressing community needs, sourcing funding and planning most effective ways of achieving advancement. Meeting community need has been an intrinsic element of his life and work and he has successfully organised the planning and delivery of community programmes and events which have been instrumental in meeting the learning, information, leisure and cultural needs of the local community.

Alice Spence Campbell

Alice Spence Campbell has over 10 years’ experience in the banking sector and over 20 years in the arts and community sectors where she has covered a variety of roles and her voluntary work extended into employment in those sectors where she has been instrumental in bringing increased opportunities for provision and access to services within the local area. Her background is in financial administration as well as general administration, project and organisational research, strategy and implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and governance and compliance, programming, facility management and marketing. Alice has continued her studies to Post Graduate level in Business and Personal Communication and in strategic planning, development and management as well as community capacity building and additional specific skills to build up a relevant personal skills portfolio to administrate in the community and voluntary sector.
